Empowered to Reign in this life through Christ

 

To Reign in life under God's authority you must keep his law, what law? The Ten Commandments, if not: God don't know you. (1Jn:2,3-4) God will not give his authority and power to those he do not know.

Empowered to reign in life over my enemy, Satan the devil with the Word of God: Rom:5-17

Empowered: Give someone the authority or power to do something

Reign: To rule as a king
Jesus was our perfect example of reigning in life while he was here on earth as a man living in this flesh body. (Ps:37-37) Mark the perfect man behold the upright for the end of that man is peace.

Rom:5-17
For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, (Jesus Christ.)

When we say empowered to reign in life, the question should come to mind over who or what? Remember, Israel as a nation is still in captivity, subject to the law of the land, so who or what are we to reign over? 

Our enemy: Satan the Devil. Our fight is not physical but spiritual;

Eph:6-12
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

2Corth:10,4-5
(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)
5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; How do we do this? By speaking the word.

Jn:1,1-3 In the beginning was the word, when was the beginning?

Jesus lived by the spoken word of the Father he heard from within. The world he lived in dominated this natural world, Jesus lived from the inside out hearing from the Father what he should do and what he should say, not allowing all the evil influences of the natural world to effect him and because we are in him we can do the same if we only believe.

Jesus said (Jn:17-16) They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. Therefore this world system should not have authority or dominion over the believer. if we live by the word.

It is Christ who empowers us to win and overcame the wiles of the devil in every situation. Fighting against spiritual wickedness in high places, the challenges we face in life, issues, tests and trial. The scriptures says..............

2Corth:2-14 
Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place. We're just vessels being used by the Lord to show his greatness and power in the earth through his people today.

Ephe;1,17-23 Read it

Col:2,12,15
12 Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead. 

15 And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it. 

Today we're talking about reigning in this life, being above and not beneath our problems, trusting in God, and our savior Jesus Christ speaking to the mountains of circumstances in our lives.  

Rom:8,5-8
6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. (In Jesus with a renewed mind) Rom:12,1-2

7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: (Hostel or hate) for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.

8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. Because you are in bondage to a death sentence you could not pay.

The carnal mind will lead you to all the evil influences the world has to offer and keep you separated from God.

To the wicked and those that are hostile toward God, and refuse to keep his law here is your reword!!!

Deut:7,9-11
Know therefore that the LORD thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations;
10 And repayeth them that hate him to their face, to destroy them: he will not be slack to him that hateth him, he will repay him to his face.
11 Thou shalt therefore keep the commandments, and the statutes, and the judgments, which I command thee this day, to do them. 

To the believer: You Have Authority Lk:10-19
Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

Acts:1-8
But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. 

 
The body of Christ should not be overtaken by the works of darkness, but we should be treading upon and triumphing over all the power of the enemy because of the authority Jesus has given to us. (Mk:16-17)

You have been seated together with Christ in the heavenly (Ephe:2-6) places far above all the powers and works of darkness. Jesus has delegated to us the same authority He has through His name. It is the name of Jesus that is above every name.

 Ps:138-2

I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.

We are to walk as children of God declaring the power that's in the name of Jesus, over the powers of darkness and their destructive works, taking the word of God and trample them under our feet.

All is possible with the faith of Jesus that worketh in us as we believe and walk in his word. (Phil:4-13)

Gal:2-20
I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live, yet not I but Christ liveth in me, and the life which I now live in the flesh, I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. In him, we have the ability to overcome.

Now we don't want to confuse anyone, God didn't give us the power to over through governments or put together a large army to enforce anything on anybody. (God said vengeance is mine)

But he gave us his word and the authority to use his name. What is written of Israel is written and cannot be broken. Jn:10-35

In times of old, Kings reigned over the people in their kingdom 2,Sam:8-15/ The prophets spoke as God revealed his secrets unto them Amos:3-7, But now

Gen:1,26-28
If we go back to Gen: we see how God empowered man to rule the earth and everything in it. But man blew it and gave his rule and authority to Satan when he ate the fruit of his lies instead of obeying the word of God. (Hosea:10-13)>>>>>Stop Here

Satan want you to think when you pray, the Father above is answering your prayers, not so. If you are not in covenant with God when you pray he do not hear you except you are repenting.

Rom:6,6-7
6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. (or obey it)
7 For he that is dead is freed from sin

Now as we go through the scriptures and began to understand our place in Christ we will stand with boldness when Satan come to tempt us, we will fight the good fight of faith (1Tim:6-12) trusting in the Lord casting down every imagination and high things that exalt itself above the Most High God. 1Corth:10,4-5

To all in Christ we are to be fearless as we live (Josh:1-8), knowing the old man died, that man of sin that was obedient to the carnal mind, but now we understand and know Christ is our life as we walk in obedience to his word and keep his covenant the 10 Commandments.

Heb:1,6-7,14 >>(The Lord will fight for us)
6 And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him.
7 And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire.
14 Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?
If a believer’s time should expire on earth, they just go to sleep until his coming. For all the righteous dead are in the ground.

1Thes: 4, 16-17
16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

Is: 53-1, who hath believed our report and to whom is the arm of the Lord revealed. Some still believe they are going to heaven.
When the church began to believe the report of the Lord and not the devil it will change their lives forever It takes knowledge to win in life. 

Hos: 4-6 My people are destroyed for the lack of knowledge. Submit yourself unto God, resist the devil and he will flee.  Ja: 4-7

1Pet:5,8-9
8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
9 Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.

If you don’t resist the devil with the word of God you will bear the consequences of all he put on you. This includes sin, sickness, disease, depression, fear, oppression anxiety stress and so on.

Eph:6,10-18
In Christ, we have the power and authority to stand and reign over the wiles of the devil as we put on the whole armor of God.

In Christ Jesus, you have the ability to move mountains. Jesus did not say to ask God to move the mountain, you command it to move.

 A mountain represents any obstacle that stands between you and that which God has promised is yours in Christ or that which tries to stop you from carrying out His will for your life.

2Corth:4,3-4
3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:
4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

We know it’s the carnal mind that instructs the flesh to do the things that are against God. However, we are no longer in bondage to the flesh to obey it.

Until we are born-again there will be a battle in the mind, the flesh against the Spirit for the authority to direct your going and coming.

Gal: 5, 16-17;
v-16 walk in the Spirit and you will not fulfill the lust of the flesh.
v-17 for the flesh lusteth against the Spirit and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other; so that ye cannot do the things that you would

Rom: 7, 24-25;
v- 24 Oh wretched man that I am who can deliver me from the body of this death.
v-25 I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord, so with the mind I serve the law of God, but with the flesh the law of sin.

Do this, Gal: 5-1, stand fast in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.

Matt:11,28-29
28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. If you have not received Jesus as Lord of your life now is a good time to do it
